Alloy rims are a popular choice for road-use trailers and commercial builds, offering reduced weight and a modern finish without compromising strength. They are often selected on enclosed trailers, box trailers, and commercial fleets where performance and appearance matter.
Further Alloy Rim Information
When specifying an alloy rim, confirm the PCD, offset and load rating to suit the trailer hubs and tyres. Common NZ fitments like 5×4.5” PCD with appropriate offsets are well covered in this range. For trailers that see frequent wet or coastal use, galvanised rims may offer longer life due to superior corrosion resistance.
If you’re unsure about fitment or how to choose the right rim for your trailer build, our Trailer Rim Buyer’s Guide explains the key checks and includes video how-tos for measuring PCD and understanding offset.
