Rims

High-Quality Trailer Rims in Steel, Alloy, and Plastic – Built for NZ Conditions

Trailer rims do more than just hold a tyre, they carry the load, ensure correct hub alignment, and determine how a trailer tows, handles and passes inspection. At Treadway we supply one of New Zealand’s widest rim ranges for trailers and equipment, covering sub-3500kg trailers, agricultural machines, and specialist applications.

Our rims are available in galvanised, alloy, painted steel, plastic, and integral bearing finishes to suit different environments and duty cycles. Choosing the right rim requires matching the rim diameter, stud pattern (PCD), offset and load rating to the trailer’s hubs and tyres. This ensures safe fitment, correct guard clearance, and long service life.

Further Rim Information

Whether you’re building new trailers, replacing worn rims, or specifying wheels for seasonal boat trailers, Treadway supplies quality rims and complete wheel assemblies to manufacturers and workshops nationwide.

For help with fitment, including how to measure PCD and understand offset, see our Trailer Rim Buyer’s Guide in the Resources section, where we also explain common fitments such as 5×4.5” and how to select rims for marine and commercial use.
