Description

The Knott 8″ Drum Brake Hub Assembly is a heavy-duty trailer braking solution designed for reliable performance across a range of trailer applications. Rated to 1,600 kg per pair, the assembly combines an 8″ drum brake hub, auto-adjusting brake shoes, 39 mm stub axle and Knott’s auto-reverse function. 

The auto-adjusting brake shoes help maintain the correct clearance as they wear, supporting consistent braking performance and reducing the need for manual adjustment. The auto-reverse function allows the brakes to release appropriately when reversing, making it easier to manoeuvre the trailer without compromising braking performance when travelling forwards.
