This tridem brake cable balance assembly is a component designed for Knott 3.5‑tonne tri‑axle mechanical brake systems, specifically those using the 700–750 mm configuration (Kit 6B7598.001).

This assembly equalises the pull from the coupling or compensator to each axle’s brake cables, helping prevent uneven braking, premature shoe wear and poor brake response, ensuring consistent brake application and stable braking performance.
