Fast-growing Whangarei-based Treadway Ltd has been appointed New Zealand distributor and marketer of Ascenso, a world leader in OHT (Off Highway Tyres).
Family-owned and operated Treadway has been servicing engineers, manufacturers, tyre shops, farmers and forestry businesses for more than 40 years. In addition to tyres, the company is a major distributor of trailer components, wheels, rims and braking systems.
During its global development drive, Mahansaria Tyres (MTPL) received funding from the World Bank and German financier DEG. MTPL is committed to minimising its carbon footprint through green initiatives.
Ascenso tyres are marketed and distributed in Central and Eastern Europe by MTPL-owned EATD, and in the United States by Tire International, also majority-owned by the Indian company.
